Daily Hedgehog Report for Sunday, December 31, 2006

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

Another day, another hedgehog report! No day is complete without one. On to the stats. Over the night, I ended up running 1,634 feet (0.31 miles!). I ran the most at around 5:08 AM, and I had a pretty good sprint, running for 30 minutes and covering 556 feet (0.11 miles!) in one go! And don’t forget my blazing top speed of 0.51 feet per second! I’m pretty tired after all that excercise though, and hedgehogs are nocturnal anyway. So it’s time for me to curl up and go to sleep.

Naturally, there’s a pretty chart detailing my activity minute by minute after the break.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Saturday, December 30, 2006

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

Another day, another hedgehog report! No day is complete without one. Sometimes I wonder why I like running in that wheel so much. I mean, it feels like I ran 828 feet (0.16 miles!) last night, but I really didn’t go anywhere! Maybe it’s the squeaking sound I like. By the time I got it up to 0.47 feet per second, it was almost constantly squeaking. I bet Ben and Eva are glad they don’t have to listen to all my squeaking at 10:12 PM. I thought maybe if I ran really hard I could actually get somewhere, but after running for 14 minutes continuously (that’s 266 feet at a hedgehog’s speed) I finally gave up. I’m pretty happy here anyway. It was quite a workout. I hope you read my blog again tomorrow - maybe I’ll even top today’s run!

Of course, what daily report would be complete without a graph. It’s in the full post.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Friday, December 29, 2006

In the Log

Ah, what better way to start the day than with a yawn, a stretch, a good quill shake, and blog post? Sometimes I wonder why I like running in that wheel so much. I mean, it feels like I ran 1,189 feet (0.23 miles!) last night, but I really didn’t go anywhere! Maybe it’s the squeaking sound I like. By the time I got it up to 0.46 feet per second, it was almost constantly squeaking. I bet Ben and Eva are glad they don’t have to listen to all my squeaking at 11:15 PM. I thought maybe if I ran really hard I could actually get somewhere, but after running for 20 minutes continuously (that’s 331 feet at a hedgehog’s speed) I finally gave up. I’m pretty happy here anyway. Anyway, I’ve found this one spot under my wheel where I can wedge myself and nobody can get me out - ha! If you want me during the day, that’s where you’ll find me, but I’m not coming out.

Of course, what daily report would be complete without a graph. It’s in the full post.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Thursday, December 28, 2006

Thursday, December 28th, 2006

Ah, what better way to start the day than with a yawn, a stretch, a good quill shake, and blog post? Sometimes I wonder why I like running in that wheel so much. I mean, it feels like I ran 817 feet (0.15 miles!) last night, but I really didn’t go anywhere! Maybe it’s the squeaking sound I like. By the time I got it up to 0.46 feet per second, it was almost constantly squeaking. I bet Ben and Eva are glad they don’t have to listen to all my squeaking at 1:25 AM. I thought maybe if I ran really hard I could actually get somewhere, but after running for 20 minutes continuously (that’s 355 feet at a hedgehog’s speed) I finally gave up. I’m pretty happy here anyway. Man, that was a full day. I even got a treat of a delicious meal worm this morning! I think I ate it too fast though… I want another.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Wednesday, December 27, 2006

Wednesday, December 27th, 2006

Man. What a awful day. I startled myself, and then accidentaly poked my nose with a quill when I curled up. Do you have any idea how much that smarts! Well, to be fair, the rest of the day wasn’t that bad. On to the stats. Over the night, I ended up running 1,170 feet (0.22 miles!). I ran the most at around 2:10 AM, and I had a pretty good sprint, running for 19 minutes and covering 340 feet in one go! And don’t forget my blazing top speed of 0.5 feet per second! It was quite a workout. I hope you read my blog again tomorrow - maybe I’ll even top today’s run!
