Daily Hedgehog Report for Saturday, March 31, 2007

Another day, another hedgehog report! No day is complete without one. Sometimes I wonder why I like running in that wheel so much. I mean, it feels like I ran 18 inches last night, but I really didn’t go anywhere! Maybe it’s the squeaking sound I like. By the time I got it up to 0.02 feet per second, it was almost constantly squeaking. I bet Ben and Eva are glad they don’t have to listen to all my squeaking at 4:15 AM. I thought maybe if I ran really hard I could actually get somewhere, but after running for 1 minutes continuously (that’s 18 inches at a hedgehog’s speed) I finally gave up. I’m pretty happy here anyway. I think I definitely deserve a crunchy meal worm after all this, but I know I’ll probably have to make due with water and cat food.

Naturally, there’s a pretty chart detailing my activity minute by minute after the break.

Ben and Eva took me out to play today. I crawled all over, and ran around the room, and went through a bunch of cardboard tubes! It was a lot of fun, but after that I figured running in the wheel would be redundant.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Wednesday, March 21, 2007

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

I dreamed all day that I was being chased! I couldn’t really make out what it was, but it was really scary, and it liked to eat hedgehogs! Instead of just curling up and hoping it would go away, I ran as fast as I could. I was running, and running, and running… and then I woke up. And after that dream, I didn’t feel like running in my wheel at all. It was that kind of dream, you know?
