Daily Hedgehog Report for Wednesday, October 31, 2007

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

I’ve been hiding under my log all day, but I have to be diligent in my blog posting. The world must know of my efforts! Last night I really had an itch to run. But when I got in my wheel, I just couldn’t find the energy. I ended up pacing up and down the ramps between the ground level and the top floor. Then, sometime around 4:10 AM, it clicked. I raced over to the wheel and ran for 6 minutes, covering 16 feet. I even hit a speed of 0.1 feet per second. All in all, I clocked in at 89 feet last night, which is pretty good. Just goes to show you have to stick with it. Man, that was a full day. I even got a treat of a delicious meal worm this morning! I think I ate it too fast though… I want another.

Naturally, there’s a pretty chart detailing my activity minute by minute after the break.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Tuesday, October 30, 2007

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

Good morning, Seattle! Of course, I was born in Yakima, Washington, but Seattle is my home. Last night I really had an itch to run. But when I got in my wheel, I just couldn’t find the energy. I ended up pacing up and down the ramps between the ground level and the top floor. Then, sometime around 1:20 AM, it clicked. I raced over to the wheel and ran for 4 minutes, covering 14 feet. I even hit a speed of 0.15 feet per second. All in all, I clocked in at 68 feet last night, which is pretty good. Just goes to show you have to stick with it. It was quite a workout. I hope you read my blog again tomorrow - maybe I’ll even top today’s run!

Remember, there’s a chart for you after the break.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Monday, October 29, 2007

Monday, October 29th, 2007

Another day, another hedgehog report! No day is complete without one. I’ll let you in on a little secret. I only run when Ben and Eva aren’t looking! But I got some time in tonight while they were sleeping. I managed to get 70 inches in before I heard a noise and decided it wasn’t safe anymore. It’s a pity too, since I had been running for 1 minutes (that one clocked in at 53 inches before I had to hide). They should be sleeping at 2:59 AM! I was even wheeling around at 0.07 feet per second at one point. *sigh* I’m pretty tired after all that excercise though, and hedgehogs are nocturnal anyway. So it’s time for me to curl up and go to sleep.

Of course, what daily report would be complete without a graph. It’s in the full post.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Sunday, October 28, 2007

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

Man. What a awful day. I startled myself, and then accidentaly poked my nose with a quill when I curled up. Do you have any idea how much that smarts! Well, to be fair, the rest of the day wasn’t that bad. Last night I really had an itch to run. But when I got in my wheel, I just couldn’t find the energy. I ended up pacing up and down the ramps between the ground level and the top floor. Then, sometime around 12:49 AM, it clicked. I raced over to the wheel and ran for 4 minutes, covering 12 feet. I even hit a speed of 0.11 feet per second. All in all, I clocked in at 84 feet last night, which is pretty good. Just goes to show you have to stick with it. Anyway, I’ve found this one spot under my wheel where I can wedge myself and nobody can get me out - ha! If you want me during the day, that’s where you’ll find me, but I’m not coming out.

Of course, what daily report would be complete without a graph. It’s in the full post.

Daily Hedgehog Report for Saturday, October 27, 2007

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

Ah, what better way to start the day than with a yawn, a stretch, a good quill shake, and blog post? On to the stats. Over the night, I ended up running 77 feet. I ran the most at around 4:41 AM, and I had a pretty good sprint, running for 4 minutes and covering 12 feet in one go! And don’t forget my blazing top speed of 0.17 feet per second! I think I definitely deserve a crunchy meal worm after all this, but I know I’ll probably have to make due with water and cat food.

Remember, there’s a chart for you after the break.
