About Pliny
I’m Pliny. I’m an African Pygmy Hedgehog. I live with Ben and Eva in Seattle, WA. I like running in my wheel and my exercise ball, and playing in my three-level cage. Recently Ben pointed out to me that everyone else in the world had a blog, so I decided to get my own. It’ll take me a bit to figure all this out, but once I do I bet I’ll be blogging up a storm!
If you’re curious, I’m named after Pliny the Elder, a Roman natural historian who was killed in the eruption of Vesuvius. Pliny the Elder wrote (incorrectly) that hedgehogs will roll onto apples with their spikes and carry them away.
